Crew Bios:Burke Heffner -- DirectorRaised between Montana and Alaska, Burke left a career as a wildland firefighter to attend NYU’s renowned film school, Tisch School of the Arts. He graduated in 1999; and in less than three years Burke rose from an entry level production assistant to become a skilled gaffer and cinematographer. His strong work ethic has made him invaluable throughout the creative process. Burke has worked with many talented directors and producers as well as a number of stars including: Academy Award winner - Olympia Dukakis, Parker Posey, Danny Aielo, Jane Leeves, Grammy Award Winner -Alicia Keys, and the cast of the Sopranos. He recently began teaching at Princeton for the New York Film Academy. Burke directed Revolver’s award winning promotional trailer, honored at this year’s Golden Trailers in Los Angeles. He was the recipient of a filmmaker’s grant from Kodak for the project. Years of on-set film experience in almost every aspect of production, has given Burke a “hands on” edge. His creativity and leadership have inspired the trust of the talented cast and crew assembled for this project. David Park -- CinematographerDavid Park’s skills have brought him around the world shooting feature films, documentaries and commercials. China, New Zealand, Nepal and Vietnam are just a few of the countries David has lensed, shooting award-winning documentaries for National Geographic, The Discovery Channel and PBS Television Network. Over the past seven years, David has helped shape the modern look of television, holding positions of cinematographer, director and lighting designer for MTV’s Real World, Casino and Donald Trump’s The Apprentice. David’s expertise in lighting combined with his keen eye for natural splendor make him ideal for capturing Revolver’s characters and their cross-country journey through an array of diverse regional terrains. Joseph Dulude -- Makeup Artist2004 Eddy Award winner, Joseph Dulude, is currently the makeup designer for the new Broadway hit musical “Wicked”. His spectacular work there also earned him Local 706’s award for Outstanding Makeup in a Theatrical Production. The last eight years have taken Joseph world wide for film, television, runway shows and theatre. Joseph was Vanessa Williams’ personal make-up stylist for the Broadway show Into the Woods. He has also worked on such stars as Jennifer Tilly, Tracey Ullman, Cynthia Nixon, Jules Asner and Linda Lopez. In the television world, he served as a Key Makeup Artist for E! Entertainment and the Style Network. Joseph has also created notable runway looks heading makeup teams for major fashions shows including Diesel, Lady Enyce, House of Field, Imitation of Christ and Catherine Malandrino. shows and theatre. Joseph was Vanessa Williams’ personal make-up stylist for the Broadway show “Into the Woods”. Gaelyn & Cianfarani -- CostumersGaelyn and Cianfarani’s one-of-a-kind couture has been featured everywhere from Italian Vogue to MTV. Christina Aguilera accepted her Grammy Award in one of their designs, and Britney Spears graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly in one of their signature pieces. World-renowned photographers have shot their collections, including Steven Meisel, David Lachappelle and Stephan Sednaoul. They are recipients of the Gen Art Beefeater Bold Spirit Design Award. With an un-reserved style, and preference for ultra-modern materials, their couture clothing has been seen on Bjork, Halle Berry, Shakira, Sandra Bernhard, and Pink. They’ve been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, Time Out New York, InStyle, Entertainment Weekly and dozens more. Their ability to give a sexy new edge to classic designs makes them the ideal team to dress Revolver’s heroine, Blue. Art Director--James VogelFine Artist and Creative Designer, James Vogel is Revolver’s art director. He attended Columbus College of Art and Design before running away with a traveling circus that brought him to New York City. A multi-disciplinarian, James has taken on an array of esteemed projects. He has designed for a Lou Reed video, Bette Midler’s Millennium Tour, and the Macy’s Day Parade. Some of his works appear in the Lion King on Broadway and he has displayed for Saks Fifth Avenue. His foray into motion pictures has included animatronics, special effects and art direction.
